Gepetto is gone and Pinocchio is now a wood-worker himself in late middle age. His joints ache and he feels alone despite being much beloved by his community. It's time for a final wish upon a star. Pinocchio wants to be wood again and free of the pains and stress of being human, but The Blue Fairy always exacts a price. What does she ask of him, and where does it take him?
