Dana Kinney is an actor, writer and classically trained singer from Colorado. Known for her authentic storytelling, she’s spent more than 15 years performing on stages across the U.S. To balance out the emotional intensities of opera, she began pursuing comedy in 2019.

Since then, Dana has written and performed with sketch comedy groups in Colorado and New York City and has appeared in digital shorts, commercials, and short films. She’s trained at Upright Citizens Brigade, The People’s Improv Theater, Rise Comedy and currently studies acting with Seth Barrish and Lee Brock at The Barrow Group. She holds a M.M in Voice Performance from Colorado State University and a B.A in Music and Theatre from the University of Northern Colorado.

When she’s not performing, Dana can usually be found hiking, practicing yoga, lifting weights or disappearing into a book or TV series. Most of all, she loves sunshine and spending time with friends and her large, loud family.
